Zwanayo is a multi-vendor online marketplace running on CS-Cart Multi-Vendor. Ecarter Technologies built the marketplace’s mobile shopping app so customers can browse, buy and track orders from their phones instead of the mobile browser.
The challenge
A marketplace with many vendors lives or dies by repeat purchases — and repeat buyers expect an app, not a pinch-to-zoom website. Zwanayo needed a mobile experience that could present a large, multi-vendor catalog cleanly, keep checkout fast, and stay perfectly in sync with the CS-Cart backend the team already ran.
What we built
- Full catalog browsing across vendors, with search, categories and filters
- Product pages with images, options and vendor information
- Cart and checkout connected to the store’s existing payment and shipping configuration
- Customer accounts with order history and order tracking
- Promotions and deals surfaced in the app to drive repeat purchases
Technology
The app is built by Ecarter Technologies, a CS-Cart authorized partner, and integrates directly with the store’s CS-Cart backend over its REST API — so the catalog, prices, stock, customers and orders in the app always mirror the live store, with no separate data entry or synchronisation step for the store team.
The outcome
Zwanayo’s customers now shop the marketplace through a dedicated mobile app whose catalog, stock and orders are always in step with the live CS-Cart store — and the team manages everything from the same admin they already use.
