Widam App

Widam is a food app from Qatar for buying and managing fresh meat products. Ecarter Technologies built the mobile experience that lets customers order fresh meat, track deliveries and stay updated on promotions — all backed by the store’s CS-Cart platform.

The challenge

Fresh food is an unforgiving category: customers order frequently, expect accurate availability, and want to know exactly when their delivery arrives. Widam needed a mobile app that made frequent reordering effortless and kept delivery status visible, while the team kept managing products and orders in CS-Cart.

Technology

The app is built by Ecarter Technologies, a CS-Cart authorized partner, and integrates directly with the store’s CS-Cart backend over its REST API — so the catalog, prices, stock, customers and orders in the app always mirror the live store, with no separate data entry or synchronisation step for the store team.

The outcome

Widam’s customers order fresh products and follow their deliveries from one app, and the Widam team runs it all from their existing CS-Cart admin — no duplicated catalog, no separate order queue.
